The Hyundai Venue has a waiting period of up to 12 weeks or 3 months in March, which applies to the base petrol E-MT variant. As opposed to this, the waiting time for its petrol and diesel models is as short as six weeks and as long as ten weeks, respectively. It is important to note that these waiting times are applicable across the country. Earlier this month, the South Korean automaker introduced the Executive, a new variant of the Venue, priced at Rs 9.99 lakh. It is the most affordable variant of the compact SUV, using a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor that produces 118bhp and 172Nm, with a six-speed manual transmission. Hyundai also offers new features for the Venue S (0) Turbo variant. These include an electric sunroof and reading lamps for the front passenger and driver. If you are looking to buy this SUV this month, here's all you need to know about its features.
Hyundai Venue: Powertrain
The Hyundai Venue is available with three distinct engine choices: a 1.5-litre diesel, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated (NA) petrol. The 1.2-litre NA petrol engine makes 82bhp and 115Nm, while the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine generates 118bhp and 172Nm. In contrast, the diesel engine produces 250Nm and 114bhp. A six-speed manual, a seven-speed DCT, and a five-speed manual are available as transmission options.
Hyundai Venue: Features Onboard
Among the many features that this South Korean automaker's compact vehicle boasts are an air purifier, an 8.0-inch touchscreen with integrated navigation, Alexa and Google Voice Assistant, a wireless phone charger, over-the-air (OTA) updates, a digital instrument cluster, a sunroof, a reclining rear seat, and an electrically adjustable driver's seat with four settings. For safety, the SUV comes equipped with ESC, six airbags, hill-assist control, VSM, and Level 1 ADAS (available with diesel and turbo-petrol units).
Hyundai Venue March Offers
While the SUV has a considerable waiting period this month, it is available with a significant discount of up to Rs 30,000. This consists of cash savings of up to Rs 20,000 and an exchange incentive of Rs 10,000. The compact Hyundai SUV's base E 1.2 petrol MT model is priced at Rs 7.94 lakh, while the top-of-the-line SX(O) 1.5 diesel MT dual-tone model costs Rs 13.44 lakh. Both are ex-showroom prices.
