Hyundai Creta Gets Discount of up to Rs 50,000 in January

For January 2024, select Hyundai dealers around the nation are giving away massive discounts on several models. These perks are available in the form of cash discounts, exchange bonuses, and corporate discounts and are valid until January 31st. There is presently a cash discount of up to Rs 50,000 on the Hyundai Creta. This offer is only good for the version that is now on sale; it does not apply to the facelift version that will be released coming January 16. At present, the SUV is available with a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel unit. Moreover, six-speed manual and automatic transmissions as well as a CVT are offered as transmission options. Notably, the 2024 version of the Hyundai Creta, set to arrive on the domestic market soon is expected to receive a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine in addition to visual and feature upgrades. Hyundai Creta Facelift: Powertrain Details

Mechanically, three different engine options will be available for the new Creta: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine, a 1.5-litre diesel engine, and a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit. To comply with more stringent BS6 Phase II emission standards, the first two units have been upgraded. Four options will be available for the transmission: a 6-speed manual, an IVT, a standard 7-speed DCT, and a 6-speed automatic.

The interior has also undergone upgrades, including a new dashboard that is dominated by two 10.25-inch screens: a digital driver display and an infotainment screen with built-in navigation. Moreover, new upholstery options and revised central air conditioning vents with a single band of physical buttons are included, depending on the model. Additional features include a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, ventillated front seats, a leatherette D-Cut steering wheel, leatherette door armrest covering, an eight-way powered driver's seat, type-C USB chargers, and an eight-speaker Bose sound system.  

Hyundai Creta Facelift: Safety Suite

When it comes to safety, the new Creta has a package of 19 SmartSense Level 2 ADAS features, including a blind spot monitoring system that makes it easier to identify cars in your peripheral vision. This car comes equipped with 33 standard safety features, including electronic stability control, all-wheel disc brakes, and six airbags. Other components include a 360-degree camera and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

The 2024 Hyundai Creta will be available in seven different variants with six monochromatic and single dual-tone colour options. Some official images of the Hyundai Creta facelift recently surfaced, providing us with more information about the external appearance of the upcoming mid-size SUV. These pictures showed the new model's upright hood, parametric black chrome grille, split LED headlamps, inverted L-shaped LED daytime running lights with an LED light bar, and redesigned bumper. Besides, the LED light bar arrangement and taillamp design resemble those up front. The tailgate has been remodelled, and the rear bumper has had its profile altered. A shark fin antenna, new dual-tone alloy wheels, an integrated LED stop lamp, and a dynamic spoiler enhance the overall styling.

Hyundai Creta Facelift: Competition Check

The new Hyundai Creta will face off against the Volkswagen Taigun, the Skoda Kushaq, the Honda Elevate, the MG Astor, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and the Kia Seltos when it launches in India.
