Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has revised the price list of its best-selling SUV, the Creta. The manufacturer has officially updated the model's variant-wise prices on its website. The new Creta facelift, which got its first N Line version just last month, goes head-to-head with other compact SUVs, like the Kia Seltos and the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. It is important to note that the ex-showroom base price of the SUV remains the same at Rs 11 lakh. However, most of the other variants have seen a marginal hike. Hyundai launched the Creta for the Indian market in January this year at a starting price of Rs 11 lakh, with the top-of-the-line variant costing Rs 20.15 lakh. For reference, here's a look at the updated prices.

Not all Creta variants are affected by the revised costs. Hyundai has maintained the same pricing for the petrol version of the entry-level E variant, which has a 1.5-litre engine and manual gearbox, and the SX(O) model, which has a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine mated to a DCT transmission. There has been an approximate Rs 3,500 increase for the rest of the petrol-powered models.
Furthermore, the company has maintained the price of the top-tier diesel models, such as the SX(O) dual-tone with automatic transmission, in place. Price increases of about Rs 10,800 have been applied to all other models with the 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine.
Hyundai Creta Facelift: Powertrain Options
The 2024 Hyundai Creta has three engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-litre diesel engine, and a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit. The first two units have been modified to meet stricter BS6 Phase II emissions standards, producing 144Nm/113bhp and 250Nm/114bhp, respectively. Meanwhile, the new turbocharged GDi petrol engine develops 158bhp of maximum power and 253Nm of peak torque. The gearbox options are a 6-speed manual, an IVT, a 7-speed DCT (standard), and a 6-speed automatic.
