Hyundai Aura, Kona and More Get Discounts of up to Rs 50,000

Select dealerships are offering discounts of up to Rs 50,000 on some models in the range. The Hyundai Aura and the i20 are a few vehicles that are eligible for the benefits this month.

A few Hyundai models are attracting discounts this month in India. According to market reports, select dealerships are providing benefits of up to Rs 50,000 on some models, including the Kona, the Grand i10 Nios, the Aura, and more. These benefits are exchange bonuses, cash as well as corporate discounts. In a recent development, Hyundai Motor India launched the Verna in the country at prices ranging between Rs 10.90 lakh and Rs 17.38 lakh (ex-showroom). The redesigned sedan features updated luxury and safety features. Several industry reports revealed that Hyundai commenced deliveries of the recently introduced Verna in India. However, there is no update on the same by the company. Coming to the discount on select models, benefits differ from dealership to dealership, so intended customers must inquire about all of them at their local authorized outlet. It should be noted that the Ioniq 5, the Alcazar, the Venue, Verna, the Tucson, and the Venue N-Line are not eligible for any benefits.

Hyundai Kona

In terms of price, the model costs between Rs 23.84 lakh and Rs 24.03 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). In April, it has a maximum discount of up to Rs 50,000 in our market. The five-seater electric SUV is driven by a 39.2kWh battery pack, paired with an electric motor, which is capable of delivering 134bhp and 395Nm. It has an ARAI-claimed range of 452 kilometre and can sprint 0 to 100km/h in 9.7 seconds.

Hyundai Aura and Grand i10 Nios

As mentioned, select dealerships are offering discounts on some models. Aside from the Kona, the list includes the CNG variants of the Aura and the Grand i10 Nios. They attract cash discounts of Rs 20,000. Moreover, the CNG versions of these cars are available with an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 as well as a corporate discount of Rs 3,000. The petrol-based models of these vehicles, on the other hand, are available with a cash discount of Rs 10,000, a corporate discount of Rs 3,000, and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000.

Hyundai i20

Another model on the list of discounts is the Hyundai i20. The Sportz and the Magna versions of the car are offered with an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 and a cash discount of Rs 10,000. Meanwhile, the i20 N line variant is provided with a cash discount of Rs 15,000 in the market.

Hyundai 2023 March Sales

Hyundai Motor India revealed its sales numbers for March 2023. In the previous month, the automaker sold 61,500 units overall. Only 55,287 units were sold in the same month a year ago. In March 2023, this represented an overall gain of 11%. Hyundai also disclosed a 13% rise in domestic shipments, from 44,600 units in March 2022 to 50,600 units in March 2023.
