Effective January 2025, Hyundai India has increased prices across its complete vehicle lineup. The Alcazar, offered in four trims – Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature – has seen price hikes on select variants. Specific models, including the Signature Matte 1.5 Petrol DCT 6S dual-tone, Signature Matte 1.5 Petrol DCT 7S dual-tone, Signature 1.5 Petrol DCT 7S, Signature 1.5 Petrol DCT 6S, and Executive Matte 1.5 Petrol 7S have undergone a maximum price increase of Rs 15,000. Additionally, a Rs 10,000 price increase applies to a few Platinum variants, such as the Platinum 1.5 MT Diesel 7S and Platinum Matte 1.5 MT Diesel 7S dual-tone. Pricing for all other variants of the Alcazar remains unchanged.

The Alcazar is available in a variety of exterior paint jobs, such as Abyss Black Pearl, Atlas White, Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Robust Emerald Pearl, Robust Emerald Matte, Starry Night, and Titan Grey Matte, along with Atlas White with an Abyss Black roof. The Hyundai model competes with rivals like the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Mahindra XUV700.

Design-wise, the car features newly designed roof rails, faux skid plates, and a prominent grille with horizontal inserts, flanked by dual-chamber LED headlights. It also gets a reworked bumper and H-shaped LED DRLs connected by an LED light bar. While the overall silhouette remains largely unchanged from the previous model, the SUV has dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, the taillights also sport an H-shaped design, with the bumper finished in silver to match the front.

Hyundai Alcazar: Engine and Gearbox Options

The latest-gen Alcazar offers two engine options: a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. The turbo-petrol engine delivers 157.8bhp of maximum power and 253Nm of peak torque, paired with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the diesel engine produces 114.4bhp and 250Nm and is available with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox. The Alcazar also features three drive modes – Sport, Comfort, and Eco – with three traction modes for varying terrains: Snow, Sand, and Mud.

The new Hyundai Alcazar boasts a dual-tone interior with a brown and dark blue theme, featuring integrated dual screens, redesigned air vents, automatic climate control, and wireless charging. It offers both six- and seven-seat configurations, with the six-seater variant equipped with captain seats in the second row that include adjustable thigh support and ventilation. Key amenities include a panoramic sunroof, Boss mode, premium leatherette upholstery, and connected car technology.

For safety, the Alcazar comes equipped with six airbags, a hill-start assist, electronic stability control (ESC), vehicle stability management, all-wheel disc brakes, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). It also integrates Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) for added protection. Additional features include a digital key, front parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, hill descent control, and an electrochromic rearview mirror.
