Honda Cars India has recently delivered 200 units of its mid-size SUV, the Elevate, in a single day. This mega-delivery event was conducted in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. For those unaware, the brand began the deliveries of the Elevate SUV on its launch date (September 4). In an event held in Hyderabad on September 10, Honda delivered 100 samples of the SUV in a single day. And now, the automaker has achieved another significant milestone (200 units) for its latest offering. The Elevate SUV starts at Rs 11 lakh for the entry-level SV MT variant and goes up to Rs 16 lakh for the top-spec ZX CVT variant. All prices are ex-showroom. The mid-size SUV is offered with a sole powertrain setup – a 1.5-litre iVTEC petrol unit, which also powers the City sedan. This engine is capable of churning out 120bhp and 145Nm of peak torque. On offer are two transmission options: a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT. Besides, a 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid motor from the City is on the cards and could be offered at a later date.

The Honda Elevate is available in four different variants – SV, V, VX, and ZX, just like the City. The 6-speed manual gearbox is standard on all 4 trims, whereas the 7-speed CVT is offered across the V, VX, and ZX versions. On the feature front, the SUV includes a 10.25-inch LCD touch-screen, a wireless phone charger, a 7.0-inch full-colour TFT instrument panel, and Honda Connect. Other bits include rich brown leatherette upholstery, soft-touch door, dashboard trimmings, etc.
Honda Elevate SUV: Safety Equipment
The Elevate prioritises the safety of its passengers with an ADAS suite, hill start assist, emergency stop signal, a multi-angle rear-view camera, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX-compatible rear side seats with lower anchorages & top tether. Note that these features shall vary depending on the trim.
Honda Elevate SUV: Dimensions, Design
In terms of dimensions, the Honda Elevate measures 1,790mm in width, 1,650mm in height, and 4,312mm in length. Furthermore, it features a class-leading boot space of 458 litres, while the vehicle's exterior is in line with Honda's current global design language for its SUVs, which includes a large grille with the Honda logo, slender and sharp headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED Turn indicators, diamond-cut R17 alloy wheels, and LED taillamps.
Honda Elevate SUV: Variant-wise Pricing, Rivals
The price of the new Elevate stands between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is available in seven mono-tone colour options – Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, and Phoenix Orange Pearl. It can also be had in three dual-tone colours – Phoenix Orange Pearl, Platinum White Pearl, and Radiant Red Metallic, all with a Crystal Black Pearl roof.
