Honda Elevate, City and More Attract Discounts of up to Rs 65,000 in August

In celebration of Independence Day, Honda Cars India is also providing additional incentives to buyers who purchase any of the models this month.

Honda Cars India is providing significant discounts and other benefits on all models available in India until the end of August. The Japanese automaker recently announced its monthly discount plan, which will be valid on the Elevate SUV, City, and Amaze sedans. In celebration of Independence Day, the carmaker is also providing additional incentives to buyers who opt to purchase any of the models this month. Here's a brief breakdown of how much one can save on these Honda vehicles in August.

Honda Elevate Discounts: August 2024

There is a Rs 65,000 discount available on the Elevate SUV this month. The automaker's flagship product competes in the compact SUV segment with the likes of the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. Among the advantages are loyalty bonuses, exchanges, and cash reductions. Additionally, Honda is providing free three-year maintenance for owners of the Elevate SUV. The Honda Elevate has four variants: SV, V, VX, and ZX. Except for the base, SV model, all versions have an automatic gearbox. The SUV price starts at Rs 11.58 lakh and goes up to Rs 16.20 lakh. Prices are ex-showroom.

Honda Amaze Discounts: August 2024

The steepest discount for the month is being offered on the smallest vehicle in Honda Cars India's portfolio. With the Amaze sedan, the Japanese carmaker is giving customers a discount of up to Rs 96,000. Until the end of August, Honda is providing the Amaze with cash savings, loyalty programs, and exchange bonuses. Furthermore, the company is providing a complimentary three-year maintenance package for buyers who choose to purchase the car this month. It competes with vehicles like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Hyundai Aura in the sub-compact class. The Amaze is anticipated to receive significant updates soon.

On the mechanical front, the car comes with a 1.2-litre petrol unit and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The latter produces 98bhp of maximum power, compared to the 89bhp of the petrol engine. A CVT or a five-speed manual gearbox handles the gearbox duties. The ex-showroom price of the model ranges between Rs 7.93 lakh and Rs 9.86 lakh.

Honda City Discounts: August 2024

In August, Honda is offering discounts of up to Rs 90,000 on its City and City Hybrid sedans. Benefits valued at Rs 88,000 are being offered by the automaker for the sedan's ICE-only variant. Among other incentives, the savings include cash benefits, exchange, and loyalty benefit programs. The City and City Hybrid, like Elevate and Amaze, are also available this month with a complimentary three-year maintenance package.

The base price of the Honda City is Rs 12.08 lakh, while the powerful hybrid variant of the sedan costs Rs 20.55 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom figures. The standard Honda City is available in four variants: SV, V, VX, and ZX. Mechanically, the 1.5-litre petrol engine, powering the City, puts out 145Nm of peak torque and 120bhp of maximum power. The 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle hybrid engine in the powerful hybrid variant claims to provide 27.13km/l of fuel efficiency. The model, which takes on the likes of the Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia, and Hyundai Verna, has been the most popular compact sedan in the Indian market for a long time now.
