Honda Elevate, Amaze and City to Become More Expensive from April 2025
Honda has cited rising raw material and operational costs as the reason for its upcoming price increase, in line with other automakers.

Honda Cars India has joined automakers such as Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors, who are set to raise the prices of their vehicles in April 2025. In line with its competitors, the Japanese carmaker has attributed the price increase to the rising costs of raw materials and operational expenses. However, the exact amount of the price hike remains undisclosed. Honda currently offers a range of models in India, with prices ranging from Rs 7.63 lakh to Rs 9.86 lakh for the Honda Amaze 2nd Generation, and from Rs 8.10 lakh to Rs 11.20 lakh for the new 3rd Generation model.

The Elevate is priced between Rs 11.91 lakh to Rs 16.73 lakh, while the Honda City is available in the range of Rs 12.28 lakh to Rs 16.55 lakh. The Honda City Hybrid is priced at Rs 20.75 lakh. These are ex-showroom prices.
Other Highlights
Honda is offering attractive deals across its range in India this March. The City Hybrid has the largest discount of up to Rs 90,000. The Elevate, meanwhile, comes with offers up to Rs 86,100, available exclusively on the ZX and ZX Black trims with the CVT option. The ZX (MT) and Black variants offer discounts of up to Rs 66,100, while the SV/V/VX (MT) variants have offers of up to Rs 56,100. The Apex Edition (MT) gets discounts of up to Rs 45,000, and the V/VX (CVT) variants enjoy benefits worth up to Rs 71,100. The Apex Edition (CVT) also offers advantages of up to Rs 46,100.
The City Sedan comes with a discount of up to Rs 73,300, applicable across all variants. On the other hand, the second-generation Amaze’s top-end VX variant is available with benefits of up to Rs 67,200, while the mid-spec S variant offers discounts of up to Rs 57,200.

Ahead of the April 1, 2025, E20 mandate, Honda has achieved full E20 fuel compatibility for its entire Indian lineup, including the City, Amaze, and Elevate. Honda has confirmed that all vehicles produced in India since January 1, 2009, are compatible with E20 fuel. This guarantees that current owners can use E20 petrol without concerns about vehicle durability or the need for component replacements.
