Carmakers are once again back with tempting discounts on their popular offerings for the month of October. Honda is offering appealing discounts across its sedan portfolio. The City and the Amaze models are available with discounts of up to Rs 75,000 throughout the month. The City is available with a cash discount of Rs 25,000. Recently, Honda introduced the City Elegant Edition and the Amaze Elite Edition in India. The manual and automatic variations of the City's special edition are priced at Rs 12.57 lakh and Rs 13.82 lakh, respectively. The Amaze Elite Edition, on the other hand, costs between Rs 9.04 lakh and Rs 9.86 lakh (ex-showroom). All mentioned prices are ex-showroom. Honda City, Amaze: Mechanical Specifics
The new City is offered with two engine options – a 1.5-litre petrol mill and a 1.5-litre petrol hybrid Atkinson cycle unit with two electric motors. The 1.5-litre petrol Atkinson cycle engine produces 124bhp and 253Nm, while the 1.5-litre petrol engine generates 119bhp and 145Nm. The 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine is no longer available in the all-new City. The Amaze, on the other hand, is equipped with a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 89bhp and 110Nm. For transmission, you can choose between a 5-speed manual and a CVT gearbox.

The city is priced between Rs 11.63 lakh and Rs 16.11 lakh, while the cost of the Amaze ranges from Rs 7.10 lakh to Rs 9.86 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom figures.
