Honda Midsize SUV to Make Global Debut on June 6
Only the City and the Amaze sedans are currently available in India from Honda. On June 6, the company will unveil a brand-new mid-size SUV that will compete with models like the Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos. Interestingly, the Honda Elevate is the name that the car will go by, according to several recent industry reports. The 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre hybrid engines that will power Honda's new SUV are expected to be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and an e-CVT. The broad, flat bonnet and the big, commanding nose give the upcoming SUV a classic, boxy SUV appeal. The chrome accents on the front grille, the LED headlights, and the strong wheel arches all contribute to the car's aggressive appearance. LED DRLs adopt a thin, whisker-like design, flanked by thin headlamps. Moreover, the relatively flat roof with roof rails is what gives the car its sporty appearance.

This Creta rival will have dual-tone alloy wheels on the sides, most likely measuring 17 inches. The glass area will be substantially filled by a quarter-glass. The licence plate will be mounted on the boot lid, and wraparound taillights will be added to the SUV's rear section. The bumper will probably have a silver skid plate and a dual-tone finish. The black cladding will also be applied to both its length and width.
The dashboard for this Honda is anticipated to be both modern and practical. The feature list could also include the large touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charger, ventilated front seat, electric sunroof, automatic climate control, up to 6 airbags, and Honda Sensing safety suite.
