Hero MotoCorp Total Year-on-Year Sales Dip By 6.36% in November

In November 2024, Hero MotoCorp sold a total of 4.60 lakh units, representing a decline of 6.36%. This was a volume de-growth of 31,245 units from the previous year’s 4.91 lakh units. Of the total, the sales of motorcycles registered a drop of 3.49% year-on-year. For reference, Hero sold a total of 4.26 lakh motorcycles last month, down by 15,420 units from the 4.41 lakh units sold in November of the previous year. Despite the decline in overall sales, motorcycles remained the dominant segment for Hero MotoCorp, making up 92.62% of the market share. However, on a month-on-month basis, they experienced a more pronounced drop of 33.02%.

Hero MotoCorp November 2024 Sales: More Highlights

Similar to motorcycles, Hero MotoCorp witnessed a sharp decline in its scooter sales. It sold 33,949 units, a drop of 31.79% from the 49,774 units sold in the same month the previous year. Month-on-month, the sales experienced a 21.60% contraction, down from 43,304 units in October 2024.

Coming back to the overall sales (motorcycles and Scooters), while Hero saw a 7.67% reduction in domestic sales, the international shipments surged by 35.65% year-on-year. Compared to the 14,764 units shipped in November 2023, Hero exported 20,028 units last month. This strong export growth highlights the company’s resilience in overseas markets, offsetting some of the domestic setbacks.

In November 2024, Hero MotoCorp unveiled its premium lineup of motorcycles and electric vehicles at EICMA 2024. The showcase featured standout models such as the Xpulse 210, Xtreme 250R, and the Karizma XMR 250 motorcycles, alongside the VIDA Z electric scooter, highlighting the company’s push into both performance and sustainability segments.
