In July, Hero MotoCorp experienced a decrease of 12.18% in its overall sales. The leading two-wheeler producer sold a total of 3,91,310 units (domestic and export) last month, compared to 4,45,580 units delivered at the same time last year - a decline of 54,270 units. In the domestic market, the company sold 3,71,204 units in July 2023, which is a 13.8% drop from the 4,30,684 units sold in the same month the previous year. Although domestically the automaker didn't gain many sales numbers, it managed to see some sunshine via exports. Its exports grew to 20,106 vehicles in the past month from 14,896 units dispatched during the same period last year. The manufacturer attributed the decrease in sales figures to adverse weather conditions, namely heavy rainfall and floods that occurred in certain regions of the country over the past month. Hero MotoCorp Sales July 2023
In regards to motorcycles, the company experienced a decline of 14.41% in sales, with a total of 3,60,592 units sold in July 2023. This is a decrease of 60,696 units in comparison to the 4,21,288 vehicles dispatched at the same time a year ago. However, scooter sales increased by 26.45%, with a total of 30,718 units sold in July 2023 compared to 24,292 units delivered in July the last year. In addition, the company saw an improvement in exports for the month, shipping 20,106 units, up from 14,896 vehicles in July 2022, representing a year-over-year increase of 34.98%.
Moving to the month-over-month figures, the automaker witnessed a 12.19% decline in domestic sales compared to the 4,22,757 vehicles delivered in June. Both the motorcycle and scooter segments saw a downfall in sales on an MoM basis with 10.85% and 5.54%, respectively. However, exports increased by 41.23% from 14,236 units shipped in June of this year. Overall, month-over-month sales fell by 10.45% from 4,36,993 units sold in June 2023, resulting in a reduction of 45,683 units.

Hero Karizma XMR 210 India Launch
The Hero Karizma XMR is all set to make its comeback in the nation. Dubbed the Hero Karizma XMR 210, the motorcycle is said to launch on August 29 in India with a range of improvements. According to the prior leaked shots, the new Karizma XMR 210 will adorn a sporty look with sturdy bodywork. It will likely have a muscular fuel tank, raised clip-on handlebars, a two-piece step-up seat, and more. The bike will reportedly get a 210cc, liquid-cooled, 1-cylinder petrol engine, capable of delivering 25bhp and 3Nm, coupled with a six-speed manual transmission.
