Hero MotoCorp to Launch Harley X440-based Bike
Following the release of the X440, Hero is currently preparing to debut an X440-based motorcycle on January 22, most likely a naked streetfighter with a sporty look. While the Harley-Davidson X440 and the new 440cc Hero bike may share the same underpinnings, their design will most likely differ. The forthcoming motorcycle will be more appealing to young riders and will include more amenities in comparison to the X440.
Hero MotoCorp's upcoming offering will feature the same engine as the X440 when it comes to powertrain, but the engine sound will be distinct. For the uninitiated, the Harley-Davidson X440 is powered by a 440cc single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled unit with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine cranks out 27bhp at 6,000rpm and 38Nm at 4,000rpm. Moreover, the all-new Hero bike may come with features like Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, a 3.5-inch digital instrument console, and more.
