The 2016 Auto Expo will be held from February 5 - 9 at the India Expo Mart & Centre, Greater Noida, the organisers of the event have announced. The Component Show, on the other hand, is scheduled from February 4 - 7 at Delhi’s Pragati Maidan.
All major automobile manufacturers are expected to participate in the 13th Auto Expo, Asia's largest motor show. The last edition witnessed 26 global launches and 44 India-specific launches. In total, over 200 two and three wheelers and around 300 four-wheel vehicles were displayed.
The previous Components Show - a B2B expo - witnessed entries from over 1,100 companies who combined to showcase over 5,000 products. The event was spread across 6 halls and 17 hangars at Pragati Maidan.
More than 1,00,000 people thronged to the mainstream show daily, while the combined audience for the Component Show was in north of 70,000.
The Auto Expo is jointly organized by Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).
