As part of its move to rejig senior management team, Stellantis India has named Shishir Mishra as the new Brand Director for Citroen India, a subsidiary company. Shishir assumes his new role with immediate effect.
Shishir Mishra, a post-graduate in Sales & Marketing, began his career at Stellantis as the Director and Head of Partnerships in June 2018, demonstrating leadership skills across various functions. After serving in this role, he became the Head of Sales and Marketing synergy functions in 2022 for both Jeep and Citroen India, where he has been tasked with spearheading Aftersales operations, Dealer Network Development, Demand Planning & Distribution, Selling Online, Finance & Insurance, Independent After Market, Eurorepar, and Reporting & Consolidation.
Shishir Mishra: What Does His New Role Entail?
In his new role, Shishir Mishra will lead the brand's strategic initiatives and strengthen its presence and impact in the Indian automotive market. "I am excited to take on this role at an important juncture for the brand and the automotive industry. I look forward to leveraging Citroen's rich heritage and innovative spirit to strengthen our position in the Indian market, working closely with our dealer partners to deliver exceptional experiences to our customers and drive sustainable growth for the company", said Shishir.
Prior to joining Stellantis India, Shishir had worked as a Marketing Executive at Onida, followed by his association with Ford Motor Credit Company, ICICI Bank, HDFC Ergo General Insurance, Toyota Financial Services India, and Banque PSA Finance.

Stellantis India: Recent Appointments
Other recent appointments include Aditya Jairaj as CEO and Managing Director of Stellantis India with effect from January 1 and Priyesh Kumar as the Brand Director for Jeep India. While the latter is tasked with building on the current portfolio of the Jeep Compass, Meridian, Wrangler, and Grand Cherokee, Shishir Mishra will have a vehicle portfolio of the Citroen C3 and the C3 Aircross.
Citroen C3 Aircross Automatic
Speaking of the latter, Citroen launched the C3 Aircross with an automatic transmission in India, with prices ranging from Rs 12.85 lakh to Rs 13.85 lakh (ex-showroom). Available in two trims (Plus and Max), the C3 Aircross AT is Rs 1.30 lakh more expensive than the manual version. Like the MT counterpart, the C3 Aircross with a 6-speed torque converter unit comes powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing the same 109bhp. However, the torque output is 15Nm more at 205Nm. Its ARAI-certified fuel efficiency is 17.6km/l.
