Citroen C3 Hatchback to Become Expensive by up to Rs 17,500 From July in India
The prices of the C3 hatchback will increase by up to Rs 17,500 in India from July 2023. The model is available in three variants: Live, Feel, and Shine. The hike will probably vary depending on the versions of the C3.
Citroen India will increase the prices of the C3 hatchback from the next month. From July onwards, the Citroen C3 will be more expensive in our market by up to Rs 17,500. According to market reports, the latest price hike on the model will depend on its variants. The hatchback comes in three versions – Live, Feel, and Shine. Citroen first raised the model's cost in January, which was followed by another hike in March this year. Now, it has increased its prices for the third time in a year. The Tata Punch and the Maruti Suzuki Ignis are the C3's main rivals. In our market, it will soon face competition from the Hyundai Exter, which will make its entry into the market on July 10.

Citroen C3: 2023 Price Hike
As mentioned, Citroen has increased the hatchback's price for the third time this year. The car's price was raised by a total of Rs 45,000 initially in January and then in March. Price-wise, the Citroen C3 hatchback was first offered at a starting price ranging between Rs 5.70 lakh and Rs 8.05 lakh. However, the introductory cost was changed to Rs 5.98 lakh in January because of the price hike and then again to Rs 6.16 lakh in March this year. Now, after the most recent price increase, the model will be available at Rs 6.33 lakh (introductory). All prices are ex-showroom.
Citroen C3: Engine & Gearbox
Speaking of the powertrain, the C3 gets two engine choices: a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.2-litre turbocharged unit. The former generates 80bhp and 115Nm, while the latter produces 109bhp and 190Nm. For transmission, the 1.2-litre petrol engine gets a 5-speed manual gearbox, whereas the turbocharged unit is mated to a 6-speed MT.

Citroen C3 Aircross SUV: India Debut
Citroen recently pulled covers from the C3 Aircross SUV for the Indian market. The new B-SUV will most likely enter our market in the second half of 2023. It will be 90% locally made in India at the Thiruvallar plant in Tamil Nadu. There is no official confirmation, but according to market rumours, the SUV's estimated starting price in our market could be Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom).
