Citroen C3, C3 Aircross Get Discounts of up to Rs 1.5 Lakh in India

Apart from available discount offers, the carmaker is providing free fuel for a year and a 5-year extended warranty. Notably, the Citroen C3 and the C3 Aircross discount offers are good through December 31, while the Citroen C5 Aircross discounts are only valid till November 30.

In order to increase sales in the last quarter of this year, French automaker Citroen officially stated that it is providing a variety of discounts and offers on three of its models in India. Going into further details, discounts are available from Citroen India on the C3 hatchback, the C3 Aircross SUV, and the C5 Aircross SUV. In addition to price cuts, the carmaker is providing free fuel for a year and a 5-year extended warranty. It is important to keep in mind that the Citroen C3 and the C3 Aircross discount offers are good through December 31, while the Citroen C5 Aircross discounts are only valid till November 30. Citroen C3 Aircross

Ex-showroom Price - Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 12.54 lakh

Benefits up to Rs 1.5 lakh are being offered for the Citroen C3 Aircross. It is the only model from the carmaker that can be had in both five- and seven-seater configurations. Prospective buyers can further choose between two interior dashboard finishes (Bronze and Grey), six dual-tone colour schemes, and four monotone colours. There is also a range of four customisation packs available: Vibe, Elegance, Travel, and Care. On the powertrain front, the SUV is driven by a 1.2-litre Gen3 turbo-petrol engine producing 108bhp at 5,500rpm and 190Nm at 1,750rpm. This powerplant is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox for transmission functions. Furthermore, the vehicle has an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency rating of 18.5km/l.

The feature list of the model is quite loaded with amenities such as a 10.23-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, controls mounted on the steering wheel, tropicalised air conditioning, segment-first roof-mounted air vents, connected car technology, automatic climate control, USB ports, and other features. The My Citroen Connect app also has 38 smart functions such as remote door lock/unlock, positioning lamp on/off, and immobilisation control.

Ex-showroom Price - Rs 6.12 lakh to Rs 8.92 lakh 

Similar to the SUV variant, you can save of up to Rs 1.5 lakh on the C3 hatchback. There are two engine options for the model. A 1.2-litre, three-cylinder NA engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox produces 115Nm of torque at 3,750rpm and 81bhp of power at 5,750rpm. It claims to have 19.8 km/l of fuel efficiency. The other engine is a 1.2-litre turbocharged unit with a 6-speed manual transmission that generates 190Nm of peak torque at 1,750rpm and 108bhp at 5,500rpm. It boasts 19.4km/l of fuel efficiency.

Following the C5 Aircross, the Citroen C3 was the second model in the company's lineup. Among its many conveniences are a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, four speakers, a digital instrument cluster, and controls that are positioned on the steering wheel. As for the exterior colour options, the model comes in four monotone and six dual-tone shades for the hatchback. Moreover, it competes against models such as the Nissan Magnite, the Renault Kiger, and the Tata Punch.

Citroen C5 Aircross

Ex-showroom Price - Rs 36.91 lakh to Rs 37.67 lakh 

The company's flagship model in the domestic market, the C5 Aircross, is available with discounts worth up to Rs 2 lakh. In terms of rivals, the SUV goes up against the Volkswagen Tiguan, the Skoda Kodiaq, and the Hyundai Tucson. It has a 2.0-litre diesel engine that makes 400Nm of peak torque and 174bhp of maximum power. 

With redesigned headlights, dual DRLs on either side and a new front fascia, Citroen gave the C5 Aircross an updated look this year. Along with new alloy wheels and body cladding, the C5 Aircross's interior was also enhanced with a number of fresh amenities, including a free-standing 10-inch touchscreen infotainment unit and extra cushioning for the seats that has heating and cooling capabilities. Although leather is the standard finish for the seats and interior components, Alcantara is an option as well.
