Citroen C3 Aircross Plus Variant Attracts a Discount of Rs 2.62 Lakh

A few days back, Citroen India launched the Dhoni edition of its popular SUV, the C3 Aircross, with an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 11.82 lakh. Now, the car manufacturer has revealed a unique offer for the SUV's mid-spec model. For those unaware, the model is available for purchase in three different variants: You, Plus, and Max. The mid-range Plus model is available with a flat discount of Rs 2.62 lakh. Limited units of the variant are eligible for this offer. As a result, the C3 Aircross Plus variant – which was previously priced at Rs 11.61 lakh – is now available for Rs 8.99 lakh. All mentioned figures are ex-showroom prices.

Citroen C3 Aircross: Rival Models

The mid-spec Plus variant of the C3 Aircross comes in both 5- and 7-seater options, and goes up against the likes of the Honda Elevate, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Skoda Kushaq. 

Citroen C3 Aircross: Powertrain Options

Mechanically, the SUV is powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The power and torque figures are 108bhp and 190Nm, respectively. Its fuel efficiency is 18.5km/l, according to ARAI.

The C3 Aircross AT, like the manual version, is driven by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, but in this configuration, it delivers 109bhp and 205Nm (around 15Nm more than the MT version) using an automated 6-speed torque converter transmission. The ARAI-certified fuel efficiency is 17.6km/l.

Citroen C3 Aircross: Features

The Citroen SUV's safety features include an electronic stability programme (ESP), dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system), and auto start-stop technology.

Other features come in the form of roof-mounted air vents, automated climate control, USB ports, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, steering wheel controls, tropicalized air conditioning, a 10.23-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Citroen C3 Aircross: Colour Options

Lastly, the model is available in six dual-tone and four monotone colour schemes: Steel Grey with a Polar White roof, Steel Grey with a Cosmo Blue roof, Platinum Grey with a Polar White roof, Cosmo Blue with a Polar White roof, Polar White with a Platinum Grey roof, Steel Grey, Platinum Grey, Cosmo Blue, and Polar White.
