This offer includes a Rs 2 lakh cash discount, along with a three-year service and maintenance package valued at Rs 50,000. BYD Seal EV: Battery and Range

The BYD Seal is built on the same e-platform 3.0 as the Atto 3 and Dolphin but features an 800V electrical architecture. It has two battery options, both utilising BYD's proprietary blade technology. The smaller 61.44kWh battery powers a 201bhp electric motor mounted on the rear axle, offering a claimed range of 510 km.

The top-tier Seal Performance variant features all-wheel drive, powered by a dual-motor system, producing 523bhp and 670Nm of torque, allowing the sedan to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.8 seconds. It is equipped with a larger 82.56kWh battery, providing a range of up to 580 km. In contrast, the Seal Premium utilises a single motor that drives only the rear wheels, belting out a peak power of 308bhp and 360Nm of torque. However, with the same 82.56 kWh battery, the Premium variant offers a significantly higher range of up to 680 km.

BYD Seal EV: Dimensions and Design

The Seal measures 4,800mm in length, 1,875mm in width, and 1,460mm in height. It has a drag coefficient of less than 0.21. The EV follows the Chinese automaker's 'Ocean Aesthetics' design language, drawing inspiration from the Ocean X concept introduced in 2021. It features a sleek, coupe-like roofline, split headlamps with boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs), a full-width LED light bar at the rear, flush-fitting door handles, and 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. There are four paint job options: Arctic Blue, Atlantis Grey, Aurora White, and Cosmos Black.
