BYD, the chinese EV manufacturer, has unveiled an all-new intelligent body control system called DiSus-X at a technology launch event held in its global headquarters at Shenzhen, China. The centre of attraction was the company's high-end Yangwang U9 EV. Fitted with DiSus-X system, the Yangwang U9 supercar demonstrated its ability to dance, jump off the ground, and even drive on three wheels. Claiming to improve the driving experience for the users, the BYD DiSus system is categorically built for new energy vehicles (NEVs), according to the press statement. With the release of the self-developed DiSus system, BYD achieves a significant milestone by becoming the first Chinese automobile manufacturer to own the intelligent vehicle body control technology throughout.
BYD DiSus-X System: Key Details
The BYD's DiSus-X system is divided into three categories - Intelligent Damping Body Control System (DiSus-C), the Intelligent Air Body Control System (DiSus-A), and the Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control System (DiSus-P). It is said to provide automotive safety and driver-assist technologies. It will be offered in a number of BYD models, including the Yangwang U8, the Denza N7, the Dynasty series, the Ocean series, and more.
The DiSus-P will be firstly fitted on the Yangwang U8 and DiSus-A on the Denza N7. On the other hand, other BYD models, including Han, Tang, and Denza will come equipped with DiSus-C.
