BMW Motorrad India has announced plans to increase the prices of its entire model range starting from January 1, 2025. The move comes as a response to various factors including rising input costs and inflationary pressures in the automotive sector. This price hike will affect the brand’s diverse lineup of motorcycles, ranging from premium sport bikes to adventure and cruiser models. While the exact increase has yet to be revealed, BMW Motorrad India has emphasised that the decision is necessary to maintain the brand’s commitment to quality, technology, and innovation. BMW Motorrad has announced that it will raise motorcycle prices by as much as 2.5 per cent. The company explained that the decision stems from mounting production costs and economic inflation, highlighting the importance of safeguarding its profitability and business sustainability.

'The strategic price corrections are driven by rising overall input costs and inflation pressures. The decision will support in ensuring profitability and high standards of BMW Motorrad excellence in terms of quality, performance, and brand experience,' the brand said in an official statement.
BMW Motorrad has become the latest luxury motorcycle brand to announce a price increase for the upcoming year, following Ducati India’s recent announcement of similar plans, though the Italian bike manufacturer has yet to disclose the exact details of its hike. For buyers, this could be an ideal time to explore existing stock from both brands to benefit from substantial year-end discounts.

The price hike will cover BMW Motorrad’s entire lineup, which features one of the most comprehensive selections of performance motorcycles in India. This includes its locally assembled models, such as the G 310 R, G 310 GS, and G 310 RR, as well as the premium CE 02 electric scooter, catering to a wide range of riding preferences and styles.

The brand’s premium range features its flagship ‘M’ series models, including the M 1000 RR, M 1000 XR, and M 1000 R. The adventure segment caters to off-road enthusiasts with the R 1300 GS, F 900 GS, and F 900 GSA. For sport-focused riders, the lineup includes the S 1000 RR, S 1000 XR, and F 900 XR. The roadster category is taken care of by the S 1000 R, while the heritage series comprises models such as the R 18 Transcontinental, R 12, and R 12 nine T. Lastly, touring enthusiasts can explore options like the R 1250 RT, K 1600 B, K 1600 GTL, and K 1600 GA.
