Bajaj Auto Registers 2% Year-on-Year Total Sales Growth in October

Bajaj Auto sold 4.80 lakh 2Ws and CVs in October 2024, representing a slight increase of 2% over the previous year's 4.71 lakh 2Ws and CVs.

In October, Bajaj Auto sold 4.80 lakh units in total, representing a slight increase of 2% over the previous year's 4.71 lakh units. Of the total, 3.04 lakh units were sold domestically, which is an 8% YoY decrease from the 3.29 lakh units sold in October 2023. However, exports grew by 24%, from 1.42 lakh units to 1.76 lakh units in the previous month. Talking about the 2Ws, the company's domestic sales fell 8%. For reference, 2.56 lakh units were sold in October of this year, compared to 2.78 lakh units in October 2023. The exports, on the other hand, reached 1.58 lakh units, a rise of 22% over the 1.30 lakh units shipped the year before. All in all, Bajaj sold 4.14 lakh 2Ws, up 2% from 4.08 lakh units in October of last year. 

Bajaj Auto October Sales: Commercial Segment

Bajaj delivered 65,335 CVs in total, which is 4% more than the 63,044 CVs it supplied the year before. Of the total, 47,922 units were sold in the domestic market, a 6% year-on-year decline. However, exports surged by a strong 46% to 17,413 units from 11,912 units the previous year.

Bajaj Pulsar N125 Launched in India

Bajaj launched its third 125cc Pulsar in India last month for Rs 94,707 (ex-showroom). The Pulsar N125 stands out with its powerful style and streamlined design, including a muscular fuel tank and a sharp headlamp. It is perfect for city transportation because of its 125cc engine, which produces an amazing performance while preserving fuel efficiency.

The motorcycle has contemporary features including LED lighting, a computerized instrument cluster, and cutting-edge safety technologies. It is equipped with telescopic front forks, a monoshock rear suspension, a 240mm front disc brake, a 130mm rear drum brake, and a combined braking system.

The bike has a ground clearance of 198mm, and a seat height of 795mm. Its weight stands at 125 kg. The motorcycle's feature set includes LED headlights and taillights, an LCD instrument cluster, and a USB charging outlet. Additionally, the high-spec model has Bluetooth connectivity for SMS and call alerts and an inbuilt starting generator.
