Bajaj Auto Registers 1% Year-on-Year Total Sales Growth in March
Bajaj’s two-wheeler sales grew by 1% to 3.16 lakh units, driven by a 2% rise in exports to 1.32 lakh units. The commercial vehicle segment saw a more substantial 4% growth (54,091 units).

Bajaj Auto recorded a slight 1% increase in total sales for March 2025, with 3.70 lakh units sold. Global shipments grew by 2% to 1.48 lakh units, while domestic sales reached 2.21 lakh units. The two-wheeler division's sales also rose by 1% to 3.16 lakh units, driven by a 2% increase in exports (1.32 lakh units), offsetting stable domestic sales of 1.84 lakh units. The commercial vehicle segment saw a more substantial 4% growth (54,091 units), propelled by an 11% rise in exports (16,276 units) and a 1% increase in domestic sales (37,815 units). The company's total global shipments grew by 2% to 1.48 lakh units, and domestic sales amounted to 2.21 lakh units.
Key Highlights of Bajaj Auto's FY25 Sales
Bajaj Auto posted a 7% growth in FY2024-25, selling 46.51 lakh units, up from the previous fiscal’s 43.51 lakh units. The two-wheeler division demonstrated a healthy 7% growth, with sales reaching 39.82 lakh units. This was largely driven by a strong 13% rise in exports, which totalled 16.74 lakh units. Meanwhile, domestic sales of two-wheelers grew at a more modest pace of 3%, reaching 23.08 lakh units.

Bajaj Auto's commercial vehicle division also enjoyed a successful year, with a 7% growth in sales, totaling 6.69 lakh units. Exports were a key driver of this growth, rising by 19% to 1.89 lakh units, while domestic sales saw a 3% increase, reaching 4.79 lakh units. The company's domestic sales grew by 3% to 27.88 lakh units, while exports showed a significant 14% rise with 18.63 lakh units shipped.
