Audi India sold 1,431 vehicles in the second quarter of 2024 (April–June), representing a year-on-year decline of 6%. It attributed the low sales during the period to supply chain issues. Contrary to this, the luxury carmaker experienced a 37% gain in Q1 2024 (January-March). According to the press release, it is confident about the Indian market's long-term potential and rising demand for premium mobility solutions. Audi's certified pre-owned business, Audi Approved: plus, saw a 33% year-over-year growth from April to June 2024, and an 11% increase from the first quarter of 2024. The company currently has 27 Audi Approved: Plus facilities in major Indian cities, which will be expanded with three more pre-owned car facilities this year. Audi currently offers models such as the A4, Q3, A6, A8 L, Q7, Q3 Sportback, Q5, Q8, S5 Sportback, RS5 Sportback, RS Q8, Q8 e-tron, Q8 Sportback, e-tron GT, and RS e-tron GT in India.

Sharing his thoughts on the sales, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India said 'While the supply situation in Q2 2024 has improved compared to Q1, 2024; it still played a limiting factor on our sales performance. We are confident that our supplies will normalize during the second half of this year and we will be able to better serve customer demand.'
He further added 'It is important to emphasize that demand remains strong across our vast product portfolio and we are very optimistic about long-term growth of luxury mobility in India, including this year.'

Audi Recent Developments
In May, Audi launched the Bold Edition of its flagship Q7 SUV in India for Rs 97.84 lakh (ex-showroom). The special version costs Rs 3.4 lakh more than the SUV's top-ranging version, the Q7 Technology. It is available in four color options: Navarra Blue, Glacier White, Mythos Black, and Samurai Grey. It comes with a Black design package which consists of blacked-out 'Audi' emblems on the front and back and a shiny black coating on the grille. The SUV has blacked-out window borders, ORVMs, and roof rails. It also is equipped with 19-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels with an option for dual-tone paint. On the inside, the edition remains unchanged. It also continues to use a 3.0-litre V6 engine featuring 48V mild-hybrid technology that generates 335bhp and 500Nm.
