Audi India announced a growth of 126% in Q1 2023. The carmaker sold 1,950 units in Q1 of this year compared to the 862 units sold during the same period in 2022. The four rings brand's current lineup consists of the Audi A4, Q7, Q8, S5 Sportback, RS5 Sportback, A6, A8 L, Q3, Q3 Sportback, Q5, RS Q8, e-tron 50, e-tron 55, e-tron Sportback 55, Audi e-tron GT, and RS e-tron GT. According to the luxury manufacturer, several reasons have contributed to the first-quarter sales growth. Its fully electric vehicles, including the RS e-tron GT and Audi e-tron GT sports cars, are in high demand. Further, the company claimed that the popularity among buyers for its high-end models like the Audi Q7, Q8, and A8 L is strong in India. Audi India First Quarter 2023 Sales
A total of 1,950 units were sold by the Indian division of the German luxury car automaker between the period of January and March 2023, representing a 126% YoY growth. It sold only 862 units in Q1 2022. According to the carmaker, Q1 2023 sales were the highest since Q1 2018.

The Q7, Q8, Q3, Q3 Sportback, Q5, RS Q8, e-tron 50, e-tron 55, and e-tron Sportback 55 are among the SUVs from the firm's lineup that made up an estimated 1,170 units, or 60% of the total 1,950 units retailed in Q1 2023. As mentioned, the Audi Q7, Q8, and A8 L top-end cars had high sales in Q1 2023. The automaker's lineup of all-electric vehicles, which includes the Audi RS e-tron GT and Audi e-tron GT, continues to witness high demand from buyers.
Commenting on the sales growth, Mr. Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India stated, ''We have witnessed strong growth of 126% in Q1 2023 compared to the same period last year. Our product line-up boasts of sixteen models and we currently have the strongest ever SUV portfolio contributing to over 60% of our total sales (in Q1, 2023).''
He further added ''The newly launched Audi Q3 and Audi Q3 Sportback are witnessing strong demand from across the country. We are on a growth path and are confident of a bullish performance throughout the year''
Audi Approved: Plus
Audi Approved: plus pre-owned vehicle division in India is growing, according to the firm. It saw a 50% increase in sales during this quarter. It will have twenty-five plus pre-owned car facilities by the end of 2023. Currently, there are a total of twenty-two Audi Approved: plus showrooms spread throughout all the key hubs in the country.

In addition, the Indian arm of the German car manufacturer offers industry-first initiatives such as a five-year, unlimited-mileage warranty.
