Audi India will raise the prices of select models in the country. The price hike will be applicable from May 1, 2023. In our market, the luxury carmaker will increase the price of the Audi Q3 and Q3 Sportback by up to 1.6%. Recently, the carmaker raised the prices of the Audi Q8 Celebration, RS5, and S5 by up to 2.4%. According to market reports, India is one of the countries to experience consistent price hikes. Almost every carmaker goes through supply chain disruptions, rising input costs, and similar issues. Hence, to overcome these challenges, carmakers raise the prices of vehicles. Audi India has cited the rise in customs duty and input cost as the reason for the price hike in India.

Audi India 2023 Price Hike: What the Company Has to Say?
Sharing his views on the price hike, Mr Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, stated, 'At Audi India, we strive to give our customers the best, but the rise in customs duty and input costs have compelled us to amend our prices upwards.' He further added, ''While we have tried to absorb the impact at various levels, the current situation necessitates an increase in price.'
Audi Q6 e-tron Electric SUV: Key Highlights
A while ago, Audi shared images of the Q6 e-tron in its close-to-production avatar. Industry reports suggest that the Q6 e-tron is one of the 20 new models that are set to be launched in international markets by 2025. The range will include both internal combustion and electric vehicles, with the latter making up more than half of the lineup. The Q6 will be the first vehicle to employ the VW Group's new PPE architecture, which will act as the base for the upcoming Audi, Porsche, and Volkswagen EVs.

The luxury carmaker has not shared any detail about the world debut of the model yet. However, market reports indicate that it will debut around the year's end. In India, the e-SUV could launch by 2024 or 2025. Price-wise, the new Q6 e-tron will reportedly be less expensive than the Audi Q8 e-tron, which will be available in our market later this year.
