The festive season is considered an ideal time to purchase new vehicles, especially in a country like India. Therefore, to draw in more customers and enhance their sales figures, a range of car and bike manufacturers are providing enticing discounts on their most popular models. Joining this lineup of brands is the Bengaluru-based EV maker, Ather Energy. The company has recently rolled out several attractive discount offers for the ongoing festive season. These benefits can be had in the form of exchange deals, corporate discounts, and festive offers. However, it is important to note that these deals will be limited and are applicable till November 15. If you are looking to bring home any model from the Ather's current portfolio, here's all you need to know about the available offers.

Ather Energy: Festive Discount Offers
The company's exchange offer is among the most noteworthy ways that purchasers can save money. On the Pro version of its electric scooter models, which include the 450X (available with 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh batteries) and the 450S (available with a 2.9kWh battery), Ather Energy is offering a potential discount of up to Rs 40,000. The precise exchange value, nonetheless, will differ depending on the customer's petrol two-wheeler's age, condition, and original purchase price.
Together with a corporate benefit of Rs 1,500, the 450S Pro also gets a festive benefit worth Rs 5,000. On the other hand, the 450X version has been excluded from the festive benefit but is still eligible for the corporate scheme. In addition, Ather is offering a 24-month EMI plan with an interest rate of 5.99 per cent. These exclusive festive deals are valid through November 15.
The Ather 450 range's costs have been significantly lowered because of these discounts. For example, with the highest discount possible through the exchange offer and other related schemes, the Ather 450S, which was originally priced at Rs 1.33 lakh, can now be purchased at Rs 86,050. Meanwhile, following the recent benefits, the prices for the Aher 450X with 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh battery packs stand at Rs 1.01 lakh and Rs 1.10 lakh, respectively. All mentioned figures are ex-showroom.
Ather 450S: Mechanical Details
In August this year, Ather launched the new 450S along with the updated 450X electric scooter. The 450S, which is powered by a 2.9kWh lithium-ion battery, has a certified range of up to 115-kilometre, but in SmartEco mode, the real-world range is 90-kilometre. According to the firm, charging the e-scooter, which comes standard with a 350-watt charger, will take more than 8 and a half hours. Customers can, however, purchase the more powerful 750-watt charger as an additional accessory. Furthermore, it takes 3.9 seconds for it to accelerate from 0 to 40km/h.
Ather 450S: Rider Aids
Unlike other scooters in Ather's lineup that come with touchscreen digital clusters, the 450S features a 7.0-inch 'Deepview' LCD digital cluster. The Pro version of the 450S has multipoint Bluetooth connectivity, auto-hold, turn-by-turn navigation powered by MapMyIndia, and four ride modes (SmartEco, Eco, Ride, and Sport; the Core variation lacks ride modes). A joystick is used to access options on the 450S's digital dashboard.
Many other new features are also available with the 450 lineup: coasting regen (which extends range by up to 7%), an emergency stop signal, a revised mud flap, a new switchgear with two additional switches, and an improved intercity travel planner. "Fall Safe" is an automated motor cut-off feature that activates when a scooter falls.
Ather 450S: Market Rivals
When it comes to 450S's rival models in our domestic market, the e-scooter will face off against the Bajaj Chetak, the TVS iQube S, and the Ola S1 Air, to name a few.
