The finalists of the 2023 World Car Awards have been finally announced for seven categories – the World Car of the Year (WCOTY), World Electric Vehicle, World Luxury Car, World Performance Car, World Urban Car, World Car Design, and World Car Person of the Year. A jury panel of 100 esteemed international automotive journalists (including our Editor Dhruv Behl) from 32 nations have chosen the finalists, using a secret vote process based on their assessments of each qualifying vehicle. On Tuesday, March 7, 2023, the 'Top Three in the World' will be announced, following the live revelation of the winners in all six categories on Wednesday, April 5 at the 2023 New York International Auto Show.
