Tesla has finally delivered the first batch of its long-awaited Cybertruck, four years after its global debut. At the delivery ceremony, CEO Elon Musk showcased a video in which the Cybertruck outpaced a Porsche 911 on a quarter-mile drag strip while towing another 911. However, no specific details about the opposition model or the all-electric pickup, such as the trim level or the distance reached, were disclosed in the video. However, an illustration demonstrating a quarter-mile time of less than 11 seconds and a 0-96km/h of 2.6 seconds was displayed on the screen immediately after the trailer was presented. This brief demonstration by the EV giant, showcasing an electric vehicle surpassing a gasoline-powered vehicle, seemed to be a promotional effort highlighting the capabilities of the electric pickup. As for performance, the top version of the all-electric vehicle from Tesla's stable boasts a towing capacity of 4,990 kg and a 0-96km/h acceleration time of 2.6 seconds. Here's all you need to know about the powertrain and other specs of the e-pickup.

New Tesla Cybertruck: Mechanical Specifics
Three drivetrain options will be available for the EV: rear-wheel drive, dual-motor all-wheel drive, and tri-motor all-wheel drive. With a projected range of slightly over 400 kilometres, the single-motor base version is expected to launch in 2025. In contrast, it is stated that the dual-motor setup can accelerate a vehicle from 0 to 96km/h in 4.1 seconds and produce around 600bhp, with an approximate range of less than 550 kilometres. A tri-motor arrangement, on the other hand, will be found in the top-spec Tesla Cybertruck, called the Cyberbeast, which is expected to produce a combined 845bhp of total power output and roughly 14,000Nm of peak torque. Tesla promises a 2.6-second 0-96km/h acceleration time and a 515-kilometre estimated range for this one. The automaker has not revealed the battery capacity of the new all-electric pickup truck, but it is reported to have an 800V electrical system infrastructure.
