Volvo XC60, XC90, and S90 Become Expensive in India; Check New Prices

The prices of the Volvo S90, the XC90, and the XC60 have gone up by Rs 35,000 in India. It's important to note that the pricing of the automaker's other products, including the C40 Recharge, the XC40, and the XC40 Recharge, have not increased.

Volvo has updated the prices of a few models with immediate effect in India, following the footsteps of its rivals such as Kia, Mahindra, and more. The cost of the Volvo S90, the XC90, and the XC60 has increased by Rs 35,000. It's fundamental to keep in mind that the prices of the brand's other offerings, such as the C40 Recharge, the XC40, and the XC40 Recharge, have not seen any price hike. At a launch price of Rs 61.25 lakh (ex-showroom), Volvo just introduced the C40 Recharge electric SUV in the Indian market. A 78kWh battery that provides a WLTP-enhanced range of roughly 530 kilometre is housed in the brand-new C40 Recharge. The model produces 402bhp and 660Nm with the dual electric motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. Volvo S90, XC60, XC90: Price Increase

The habit of raising prices is not new for automakers. Several models from other brands had their prices increased previously, and now some Volvo cars have also seen price increases in India. Here are updated prices of the Volvo S90, the XC60, and the XC90:

Volvo C40 Recharge: Interior and Features 

Inside, the C40 Recharge sports a 12.3-inch digital driver's display, heated and ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a 9-inch touchscreen with a vertical orientation, a 13-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and a panoramic glass roof. In addition, the car offers ample storage space in both the front (31 litres) and the back (413 litres). Several advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) functionalities such as collision avoidance, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring are also a part of the safety net in addition to seven airbags, hill-assist, and a 360-degree camera. 

Volvo C40 Recharge: Dimensions and Colours

The new model from Volvo's stable is 4,440mm long, 1,910mm wide, and 1,591mm tall. Further, six paint schemes are available for selection: Crystal White, Onyx Black, Fusion Red, Cloud Blue, Sage Green, and Fjord Blue.

Volvo C40 Recharge: Market Rivals

The all-new Volvo C40 Recharge is available for purchase at an introductory price of Rs 61.25 lakh (ex-showroom). It goes head-to-head against vehicles like the Mercedes-Benz EQB, the Hyundai Ioniq 5, the Kia EV6, and others.
