Volkswagen India has launched new GT variants for the Taigun and the Virtus. The Volkswagen Virtus gets a brand-new GT Plus manual variant, which costs Rs 16.89 lakh. Meanwhile, the Taigun gets two new trims: GT DSG and GT Plus manual, which command Rs 16.79 lakh and Rs 17.79 lakh, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom. The Virtus GT is now available with a manual gearbox for the first time. The carmaker has also introduced the limited-edition Edge Collection for the Taigun and the Virtus. The Edge Collection includes additional dark paint schemes to the two models based on the GT Plus versions: Deep Black Pearl for the Virtus and Deep Black Pearl and Carbon Steel Grey Matte for the Taigun. Prices of this collection for the Virtus begin at Rs 17.09 lakh, whereas for the Taigun, prices start at Rs 17.99 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom.

The new Taigun and Virtus variants will be accessible through 161 sales touchpoints in 121 cities across India. The GT Edge Limited Collection vehicles will be manufactured based on customer orders and booked through the official Indian website. According to Volkswagen, deliveries will begin in July 2023.
