Volkswagen has recently updated two of its popular offerings, the Taigun and the Virtus in India ahead of the festive season. Both these vehicles are built on the India-specific MQB AO IN platform. Besides this, the addition of the Carbon Steel Grey Matte colour option brings matte exteriors to the Virtus. Notably, the German auto manufacturer has modified the Topline and GT Plus models of the Taigun and the Virtus in our home market by adding new features. These products now have electric front seats and illuminated footwells. In the MT and DSG trims of the Taigun and the Virtus, the brand has also included features like a subwoofer and an amplifier. As of October 3, 2023, the cost of the Volkswagen Taigun starts at Rs 11.62 lakh and goes as high as Rs 19.76 lakh, whereas the pricing for the Virtus ranges from Rs 11.48 lakh to Rs 19.29 lakh.
