We have just received word that German car giant Volkswagen has just locked in a new concept and design of a low budget car that will be sold under an all-new brand name. According to Reuters, VW executive Hans Demant broke the news and also mentioned that the car will be built in China, and it will carry a price tag of around $7000 (Rs 4.2 lakh).
The car is expected to be ready for a launch in 2016 and all of the components will be made in China, and the car will only be sold in the Chinese market, and maybe other developing nations in that area, which means India could very well receive this mystery budget car model as well.
No official statement has been made by Volkswagen and we do not know the name of this new brand, but Hans Demant broke the news during the China Motor Show, which means more information will flow through soon, so stay tuned for more information.
