Volkswagen India will commence bookings of the T-Roc on 1st April. The brand will also bring in the much-awaited Taigun, Tiguan facelift and the Tiguan AllSpace later in the year.
Volkswagen India had announced four SUVs for the domestic market in the year 2021. One of the four SUV is the Taigun that’s all set to make a global debut on March 31. However, the T-is also all set to make a comeback this year - along with Tiguan facelift and the Tiguan AllSpace.
The Volkswagen T-Roc was launched in India last year and the German carmaker managed to sell all of the 1,000 units of the crossover SUV. Recently, Volkswagen announced the prices of the 2021 T-Roc which was marked at Rs 21.35 lakh ex-showroom - Rs 1.36 lakh higher than the introductory price of Rs 19.99 lakh. And this time around, Volkswagen has confirmed that the bookings for the second batch of T-Roc will commence from April 1, 2021. The booking amount for the T-Roc is set at Rs 50,000 and the crossover SUV will be brought to India via the CBU route.
The Volkswagen T-Roc will be identical to the 2020 model and will carry forward the similar drivetrain and feature list. The source of power will be a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine and the power figures will also be the same as before - 148bhp and 250Nm of torque. The Volkswagen T-Roc is positioned in a segment of its own, however, the pricing is closely matched to the Skoda Karoq and the Jeep Compass. The deliveries are expected to commence soon after.
