In the form of the brand-new ID.2all concept, which resembles a Polo or Golf with an ID badge and a pure electric drivetrain, Volkswagen has finally unveiled its most affordable electric vehicle. By using this concept EV, the German automaker previewed the mass-produced electric vehicle. Volkswagen's ID.2all EV concept is entirely distinct from the ID. Life, which made its debut in September 2021. The recently unveiled EV concept gives us a glimpse of the upcoming electric vehicle, which is anticipated to be available in Europe in 2025 and cost $26,400 (Rs 21.80 lakh). In contrast to a futuristic concept car, the images released by the automaker depict it as a pre-production study. It is important to note that the Volkswagen ID.2all concept-derived electric vehicle will be the company's first FWD MEB model when it goes on sale.

Volkswagen ID.2all Concept: Interior and Features
Inside the cabin, the EV concept features a clean dashboard, a centre console in the shape of a bridge, dual rectangular displays, including a 12.9-inch touchscreen in the centre with a new menu structure, and a 10.9-inch digital cockpit. A sizable panoramic sunroof is also present. There are also two large inductive charging interfaces for smartphones on the centre console, a head-up display, and a separate air conditioning control panel with illuminated buttons below the main screen. Additionally, it has a rotary dial on the centre console that the driver can use to operate a number of vehicle functions.
Power seats with massage capabilities and a new multifunction steering wheel with dual thumbwheels and buttons are included, according to Volkswagen. There are numerous USB-C ports distributed throughout the cabin.
Volkswagen ID.2all Concept: Design and Dimensions
The styling of the EV provides a sneak peek at Volkswagen's new design approach, which is based on the three pillars of stability, likeability, and excitement, according to the OEM's design head, Andreas Mindt. The Volkswagen ID.2all has dimensions of 4,050mm long, 1.812mm wide, 1,530mm tall, and 2,600mm for the wheelbase.
Comparing the EV to current Volkswagen models, it appears small and modern. The front panel appears to have a chrome bezel or a black portion, which blends perfectly with the sharp and fluid-appearing LED headlamps. On top of the headlamps are stylish LED daytime running lights. Because it is an electric vehicle, the radiator grille is replaced by a closed panel up front. Moving to the back, the 20-inch alloy wheel design is not particularly eye-catching; it has a thick LED light strip connecting the taillights through the middle of the tailgate. The images also show a roof spoiler and a rear windscreen wiper.

With a peak output of 222bhp from its front-mounted motor, the EV can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in less than seven seconds. The battery can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent using a DC fast charger in 20 minutes.
