Volkswagen India saw a 10% increase in their February sales compared to last year, with the German car manufacturer selling 3,853 units across the country during the past month.
With sales clearly on a high, Volkswagen also announced a special edition Vento Magnific which it claims to be as one of the safest car in its segment.
The Vento Magnific comes in two variants: Highline and Comfortline. The former comes equipped with a high-end Blaupunkt infotainment system with rear and front display units and 3G connectivity.
The Comfortline variant, on the other hand, can boast about its alloy wheels and a Garmin navigation device.
Both versions of the car are fitted with dual airbags, dual-beam headlights and flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel, as featured in the standard variant.
On the occasion, Mr. Michael Mayer, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, said “We always strive to go the extra mile and provide more value to our customers. The Special Edition Vento Magnific is a step in that direction. Along with high standards of safety and impeccable build quality, the Vento Magnific is also equipped with extras like high-end infotainment and navigation systems, and Alloy Wheels, which we believe our customers will appreciate.”
The Vento Magnific goes on sale today(10th March) and will be available across all Volkswagen showrooms.
