According to folks at Gaydon, 'The next chapter of the DBX story' is set to be revealed on 1st February.
Not too long ago, our Editor, Dhruv Behl, got his first taste of the Aston Martin DBX around the Buddh International Circuit (you can read his track test report here). And, once back into the pits after some scorching hot laps in it, his feedback most certainly did not suggest that the DBX could do with more power.
However, folks at Gaydon are all set to add a new chapter to the DBX story – one that will make the DBX 'the world’s most powerful luxury SUV.' Details, of course, are scarce at the moment, but we do know that the new DBX will be unveiled on 1st February.
Change is coming.

The current DBX breathes fire courtesy of an AMG-sourced 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, which is good for 542bhp and 700Nm of torque. However, to claim the title of the 'world's most powerful luxury SUV,' it has the likes of the 632bhp Porsche Cayenne Coupé Turbo GT in its crosshairs. Some media reports suggest that this new version of the DBX could be powered by the brand's in-house twin-turbo V12. If so, it could debut as the DBX S. But, this is not confirmed yet.
On the contrary, it is also likely that the updated DBX could get a higher-spec version of the V8 since the same unit develops 630bhp in the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé.
The bump in power figures aside, it'll also be interesting to see the visual updates Aston Martin throws into the mix.
