Nissan India has launched a new updated version of the Micra with new creature comforts and safety equipment. Nissan has finally given the Micra a much-needed upgrade with new features. The Micra now comes with an all-new 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation.

Nissan has finally given the Micra a much-needed upgrade with new features. The Micra now comes with an all-new 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation. Additionally, the Micra now also gets new safety features like Dual Airbags, Speed warning device, Speed-sensing Door Lock and Driver Seat Belt Reminder another neat touch are the ORVM mounted turn indicators.
The safety equipment will be offered as standard fitment across all trim levels with prices starting from Rs 5.03 lakh (ex-showroom).

Customers will also be offered some other safety technology through NissanConnect. The Micra will now feature geo-fencing, speed alert, curfew alert, nearby pit stops, Locate My Car and Share My Car Location along with Lead Me to Car through the NissanConnect smartphone app.
The styling will remain identical to the current model and so will the 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. These engines come with a CVT automatic and a 5-speed manual transmission respectively.
