The updated MG Hector is likely to be launched in India next year. Here's what we know so far.
There are rumours going on that the updated MG Hector, teased by the brand on its social media handles, is likely to debut in January next year. Thanks to teaser images released so far, we have a few details of the updated Hector. The 2023 model will retain the powertrain options of the current model, which include a 1.5-litre petrol engine, a 2.0-litre diesel engine, and a 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid unit.
According to the brand, the updated MG Hector will have a refreshed diamond mesh grille. It will also feature a restructured air dam and a modified front bumper. The SUV will have both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a digital 7-inch configurable instrument cluster, and a 14-inch HD portrait infotainment unit.
While the teasers are out now, Hector fanboys will have to wait a while for the updated model to be fully revealed. There is no exact information regarding its expected price and availability. The updated MG Hector SUV will continue to lock horns with models like the Jeep Compass and Tata Harrier.
