Mahindra is poised to unveil an exciting lineup of five new SUV models in the year 2024. To clear the backlog of orders for their wildly popular models, such as the XUV700 and Scorpio N, the brand made increasing their SUV production capacity a top priority in 2023. In order to keep up with rivals who have made great advances in feature sets and modern design aspects, Mahindra's attention is now turning to improving the XUV700 and XUV300 SUVs, which are both slated for a facelift.
With these revisions and the highly anticipated Mahindra XUV.e8 at the forefront, Mahindra is preparing to reveal a slew of electrified models. A large electric SUV, the XUV.e8, rides on the same chassis as the XUV700. Without further ado, let's dive into a detailed rundown of the Mahindra vehicles that will be available in India in 2024.
Mahindra XUV400 Facelift
The Mahindra XUV400 EV will get a facelift to match the XUV300's. Redesigned alloy wheels a reworked front fascia, and additional interior amenities are among the electric SUV's anticipated upgrades. Expectations are that the 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh battery pack options will remain, but an increased driving range is not out of the question. It is anticipated that the redesigned XUV400 EV will cost a minimum of Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra Thar 5-Door
The Mahindra Thar 5-door, which is set to be released in 2024, is creating quite a stir thanks to test mule sightings that have revealed features such as LED lighting and a metal top with a sunroof. Similar to the 3-door model, a 2.0L turbo-petrol and a 2.2L diesel are available as engines, with minor adjustments made to the tuning. The SUV will likely be offered in both four-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive configurations. A 10-inch touchscreen, an updated armrest, a redesigned steering wheel, and roof-mounted speakers are among the anticipated features. Included features, such as advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), could affect the final price. In addition, features like dual-zone climate control, a digital instrument panel, rear air vents, and cruise control are taken into account. An estimated price range of Rs 15–18 lakh (ex-showroom) will be the starting point for the debut of the Mahindra Thar 5-door.
Mahindra XUV.e8
In 2024, the much-anticipated Mahindra XUV.e8, a brand-new electric SUV, will make its debut. This electric variant of the Mahindra XUV700 is based on the INGLO platform and features 175kW rapid charging. An impressive WLTP-certified range of up to 450 kilometres is achieved by the larger battery. Details are still being finalised, but we can expect an 80 kWh battery pack to produce 230 to 345bhp. An approximate length of 4,740 mm and a width of 2,762 mm characterise this electric vehicle.

Mahindra XUV700 Facelift
Many changes are on the way for the Mahindra XUV700, but the most noticeable one is the addition of captain seats. It now matches the level of its rivals, including the innovative Tata Safari, which was released not long ago. Cooled seats and an automatic IRVM are two more possible upgrades. We don't anticipate many changes to the outside or inside of this Mahindra SUV just yet because it is still a new model on the market.
