Kia is all set to expand its SUV portfolio in India with the Syros, which will make its official debut tomorrow, December 19. The Sonet and Seltos are two popular Kia SUVs that account for a considerable portion of company sales. Today, we predict the top five features that the upcoming Syros could borrow from one of these models, the Seltos. If you're curious about what the Syros might bring to the table, you can find out here.
Ventilated Front Seats
Ventilated front seats use air circulation to keep the seat cool, enhancing comfort by preventing overheating, especially in hot weather. Kia hasn’t confirmed anything, but we expect the new Syros to get this feature from its siblings. It may also borrow powered front seats from the Seltos for added convenience and comfort.
Dual Screens
From the teasers, it seems that the Syros will sport a dual-screen layout on the dashboard. While the precise sizes aren’t confirmed, the SUV is likely to carry over the dual 10.25-inch displays from the Seltos.

Panoramic Sunroof
A panoramic sunroof will be a highlight of the Syros. Since the Seltos introduced this option with the mid-spec HTK Plus model, the Syros will likely take the identical sunroof unit from its sibling.
Dual-zone Auto AC
The new Syros is expected to offer dual-zone automatic climate control in its top-spec models. For reference, the Seltos have this premium feature in its top-spec HTX model.
6 Airbags (Standard)
Kia provides six airbags as standard across its current models, including the pre-facelift Seltos. This focus on protection is expected to carry over to the Syros, with the SUV likely to come equipped with six airbags across all its variants.
In addition, the Syros is expected to offer features like ADAS, a 360-degree camera, a Bose sound system, and multiple terrain and drive modes.
Kia Syros: Powertrain
The Syros is likely to come with both petrol and diesel engines. The 1.5-litre diesel unit will produce 116bhp and 250Nm. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit, on the other hand, will generate 118bhp and 172Nm.
