Kia is preparing to launch the much-anticipated Sonet Facelift in India on December 14. But before that, the SUV's brochure, which contains information such as features, specifications, and versions, has been leaked online. According to the brochure, the all-new Sonet will be offered in 11 distinct exterior paint schemes, including the previously released Pewter Olive tint on the 2023 Seltos. It will also be available in the same variants as before: HTX, HTX+, GTX+, X-Line, HTE, HTK, and HTK+. The brochure also highlights that the upcoming Sonet will have three more 16-inch alloy wheel options, depending on the variant. Kia recently unveiled the teaser for the forthcoming model, which confirmed ADAS technology. Features including frontal collision warning, high beam assist, lane departure warning, driver attentiveness warning, and more are expected to be included in the ADAS suite. Kia Sonet Facelift: Design
Taking into account previous teasers and spy photos, the new Sonet SUV seems to have a bold frontal design that is similar to the 2023 iteration of the Seltos. A new grille, an updated bumper, narrow headlights, contemporary DRLs, reworked fog lights, redesigned LED taillights joined by an LED strip, and more are some of the fresh design elements of the SUV. Among other things, the redesigned Kia SUV's interior is anticipated to have a 10.2-inch touchscreen and a fully digital instrument cluster modelled after the Seltos. Regarding the list of features, the new Sonet is probably going to have three traction control settings, ventilated front seats, an electrically adjustable driver seat, and a 360-degree camera, among other conveniences.
Kia Sonet Facelift: Engine
The three engine options available for the SUV—a 1.5-litre diesel, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.2-litre gasoline—will not be changed, according to leaked information. The petrol engine provides 82bhp and 115Nm, while the turbo-petrol powertrain delivers 118bhp and 172Nm. Meanwhile, the diesel mill generates 114bhp and 250Nm. Six-speed manual (reintroduced), six-speed iMT, and six-speed AT are the available transmission options for the diesel unit. While 5-speed manual with Sonet 1.2-litre petrol, six-speed iMT, and seven-speed DCT with Sonet 1.0-litre turbo-petrol are also included. For the diesel model, Kia will bring back the previously dropped 6-speed manual gearbox choice.

Kia Sonet Facelift: Competitors and Pricing
The upcoming Sonet facelift will lock horns with the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, the Hyundai Venue, and the Mahindra XUV300, with an anticipated price range of Rs 8 lakh to Rs 15 lakh. These mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures.
