In 2019, Korean automaker Kia entered the Indian auto industry with its most reliable and popular product, the Seltos SUV. Since then, it has become a dominant player in the market with a promising range of models. Apart from the Seltos, the brand currently sells the Carnival, EV6, and Sonet in India. Now, with several planned car launches, Kia hopes to continue its years of success in the Indian market. So, here is a list of upcoming models from the Kia brand to be launched in India.

Kia EV9
The flagship Kia EV SUV was spotted undergoing testing in India in February this year. With a commanding presence on the road, the new model will be built on the brand's E-GMP platform. The base RWD model will come with a single 215bhp motor and a 76.1kWh battery, with a driving range of 541 km. There will also be a dual-motor setup option with a combined output of 380bhp. The Kia EV9 is expected to go on sale by the end of this year at around Rs 80 lakh (ex-showroom).
New Kia Carens
Kia is gearing up for the India launch of its much-anticipated MPV, the Carens facelift. The automaker is expected to roll out the latest iteration of the model in the first quarter of 2025. A lower-spec Carens test mule was recently spied on while undergoing testing. According to the spy shots, the MPV will sport new headlights and front bumper. Furthermore, fresh L-shaped LED taillights will be added to the back. The feature set will include a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, and ADAS. Expect it to command a slight price increase.
Kia Carnival
Kia discontinued the Carnival premium MPV some time ago. The company is currently preparing to launch the latest model of the well-liked MPV in the country. It will be loaded with features and have a sleeker, more contemporary look. It would perhaps be launched at a price higher than the previous price of Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom). Furthermore, rumours suggest that the new Carnival might be launched by the end of this year.
Kia Clavis
The Clavis is another new model that Kia will soon add to its lineup. It will likely arrive on the market by the end of 2024 and will sit above the Sonet SUV. Mechanically, the Clavis will come with a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine borrowed from the Sonet. A diesel engine could also be on offer. Kia will equip the car with a slew of features like a 360-degree camera, ADAS, and a panoramic sunroof. The Clavis is expected to be available for purchase at about Rs 14 lakh (ex-showroom).
Kia also intends to offer an electric variant of the Clavis. Codenamed the EV2, the Clavis EV is expected to hit the market in mid-2025. It will be built on the E-GMP platform. In terms of design, it will closely resemble the petrol-powered version.

Kia EV6 Facelift
Kia recently introduced the EV6 facelift globally, which is expected to make its debut in India in 2026. The EV now has a larger 84kWh battery pack instead of a 77.5kWh unit. The RWD variant will have a single 225bhp, 350Nm motor. The range will also go up from 474km to 494km. Additionally, its dual motor variant will offer 320bhp of maximum power and 605Nm of peak torque. It will also have an updated exterior and interior.
