January was a real treat for automotive enthusiasts in India, thanks to the flurry of exciting launches and unveilings at the latest Auto Expo. As we step into February, however, the pace slows down a bit. There are only a few major launches on the horizon, including the Kia Syros and the Audi RS Q8 Performance. Mechanically, the Kia Syros comes with two engine options. The first is a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that delivers 118bhp and 172Nm, with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed DCT gearbox. The second is a 1.5-litre diesel engine, producing 114bhp and 250Nm, paired with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. The car also offers impressive fuel efficiency: the diesel variant achieves 20.75km/l with the manual and 17.65km/l with the automatic, while the petrol variant delivers 18.20km/l with the manual and 17.68km/l with the DCT.
The Kia Syros comes loaded with several impressive amenities, including 64-colour ambient lighting, automatic up/down windows, dual 12.3-inch displays, and a Harman/Kardon eight-speaker sound system. On the safety front, the Syros is equipped with ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold. It also comes with a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), six airbags, and Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). The Kia Syros is expected to be priced starting at over Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom).
Audi RS Q8 Performance

The RS Q8 Performance is set to enter the Indian shores on February 17, 2025, with an estimated price of around Rs 2 crore (ex-showroom). While it shares much of its design with the standard RS Q8, the Performance variant stands out with subtle yet significant tweaks. These include a more prominent diffuser, blacked-out exhaust pipes, a larger grille, and bigger air intakes on the front bumper.
Inside, the luxury is elevated with an all-black cabin featuring striking red accents on the seats, doors, and steering wheel. The dual touchscreen setup includes a 10-inch infotainment screen, an 8.5-inch display for HVAC controls, and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster.
Under the hood, the RS Q8 Performance packs a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that churns out a staggering 631bhp and 850Nm of torque. This power allows the SUV to go from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.6 seconds, with a top speed surpassing 305km/h when equipped with the optional performance package. Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system and sport differential ensure remarkable handling and performance.
Aston Martin Vanquish

The Aston Martin Vanquish will be one of the notable launches in February, with a price tag likely to exceed Rs 6 crore (ex-showroom). The supercar has slender oval headlamps, a large grille that seamlessly flows into the car’s lower fascia, and a bonnet, accentuated by the two distinct air vents. Other highlights include vertically stacked LED taillights in a stepped configuration, and aggressive quad exhausts. In terms of features, the Vanquish has a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, a 1,170-watt, 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system, a wireless phone charger, and a comprehensive ADAS suite.
