Nissan X-Trail
The Nissan X-Trail SUV is now being tested on Indian roads. Its Indian launch is most likely to take place prior to or right around the festive season this year. The SUV will compete with the Toyota Fortuner in the market as a low-volume CBU option. The Nissan X-Trail will be the first Nissan vehicle to feature Nissan e-Power hybrid technology in India. The SUV is offered with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol mild hybrid and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol with an e-Power strong hybrid setup in international markets. Only the powerful hybrid version is offered with the AWD drivetrain. The India-specific version could be offered with the ADAS along with a number of cutting-edge features, similar to the global model.
All-new Renault Duster
Within the next few years, India will be receiving the third-generation Renault Duster. This time, the automaker will offer the SUV in 5 and 7-seat configurations. The new CMF-B modular platform, which complies with all applicable safety and emission regulations, will be used to develop the new Duster. The SUV might also get an electric and plug-in hybrid powertrain with the generation change. It will be larger than the Duster from the previous generation. The model is probably going to borrow some of the Dacia Bigster concept's design cues and body panels.
Citroen C3 Aircross
Citroen has been testing the new C3 Aircross SUV in India for a while now. The brand-new model from the French automaker will reportedly be available in two seating configurations: five and seven seats. It will be based on the C3 hatchback and will share its platform, powertrains, and features with its ICE sibling. The new Citroen SUV will be about 4.3 metres long, making it as huge as the Hyundai Creta. Its 7-seater version will undoubtedly be longer and will compete with vehicles such as the Kia Carens and the Maruti Suzuki XL6. The new Citroen SUV is expected to be powered by a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine producing 110bhp of maximum power and 190Nm of peak torque. The C3 Aircross SUV is expected to go on sale by the end of the year.
Force Gurkha 5-Door
In the upcoming months, the Force Gurkha 5-Door is most likely to arrive on the market. There are reportedly four different seating configurations for the SUV, including 6, 7, 9, and 13 seats. The model will address daily commuter needs as well as off-road problems. The middle row of its seven-seater version will have bench-style seats, and the third row will have captain's seats. The same 2.6-litre turbo diesel engine that powers the Gurkha's 3-door model will power the 5-door variant. The oil burner has a maximum power output of 91bhp and 250Nm of torque. It will have mechanically lockable front and rear differentials and a 4X4 drivetrain system.

Toyota Corolla Cross
Toyota Kirloskar Motor will likely launch a three-row SUV based on the Corolla Cross, which is currently sold globally. The automaker's upcoming 7-seater family SUV could feature 172bhp, 2.0-litre NA petrol, and 186bhp, 2.0-litre petrol powertrain options, as well as Toyota's strong hybrid tech. The car will compete with a number of other models in terms of pricing, including the Hyundai Alcazar, the Mahindra XUV700, the Hyundai Tucson, and the Jeep Meridian. The TNGA-C platform, which was taken from the Innova Hycross, will support the new Toyota 7-seater SUV. It might have a fully folding back seat, longer rear doors, a bigger glasshouse, an electrically operated tailgate, and different C and D pillar designs.
