Toyota, the Japanese carmaker, recently unveiled its new Toyota Urban SUV concept in Europe. It belongs to the company's upcoming six-model dedicated BEV range and is based on the Maruti Suzuki eVX. The SUV's production version will first be introduced in Europe and subsequently in other countries. In terms of design, the concept has a compact appearance with a high driving position and robust shoulders. It has a streamlined front panel, a contoured hood and side profiles, a black roof, C-shaped LED daytime running lamps at the front, and alloy wheels. The electric concept's interior, according to the manufacturer, has the maximum space and can be modified to meet the needs of passengers or cargo. Here are some more details on this newly revealed Toyota concept that is scheduled to hit European shores in its production guise next year.

Toyota Urban SUV Concept: What's More?
The concept will be constructed on Maruti Suzuki's 27PL skateboard architecture, which is also included in the eVX. Toyota states that the Urban SUV concept is almost the same size as the eVX, measuring 4,300mm in length, 1,820mm in width, and 1,620mm in height. Although the eVX is the same length as the Toyota SUV concept, it is 20mm shorter in length and width. The wheelbase of these cars is estimated to be 2,700mm.
In terms of technical components, the Japanese automaker has announced that the SUV concept will be offered in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. It will also come with two battery options to meet the varied requirements of customers regarding accessibility and driving range.
Although Toyota hasn't disclosed anything yet, the concept car's interior is expected to mimic that of the Maruti Suzuki eVX. The eVX-based SUV is also likely to include lavish upholstery in addition to an abundance of conveniences, safety features, and technology.
Toyota Urban SUV Concept: Availability in India
Although the carmaker has not revealed any official information, industry reports hint that Toyota's electric SUV could arrive in India next year, after the Suzuki eVX production model.
