The Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor is now available in India, with prices starting at Rs 7.74 lakh (ex-showroom). The Taisor is a rebadged model of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx with a few cosmetic changes, including a redesigned grille, upgraded LED DRLs, a modified front bumper, and new alloys. Inside, the subcompact crossover is largely similar to the Donor model, except for the Toyota emblem on the steering wheel. It is available in five core variants: E, S, S+, G, and V, and numerous safety features like rear parking sensors, electronic stability control (ESC), and up to six airbags.
The crossover from Toyota comes with distinct colour options such as Cafe White, Lucent Orange, Sportin Red, Enticing Silver, and Gaming Grey. The first three can be availed with a blacked-out roof. However, this dual-tone combination is only available for the top-tier V variant. Talking about the engine, the 1.2-litre, four-cylinder K-series petrol is available in variants from E MT to the S+ AMT. In contrast, the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol is only offered in the top-of-the-line G and V versions. With a 1.2-litre petrol engine, Toyota also provides a CNG option, although only for the entry-level model. Let's look at the features of each Taisor variant in detail.
