Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced the 2025 Urban Cruiser Hyryder in India, enhancing its appeal with several notable feature upgrades, including the standardisation of six airbags across all variants. The improvements across different aspects, including safety and performance, have led to a price increase, with the SUV now starting at an ex-showroom price of Rs 11.34 lakh, up from Rs 11.14 lakh. The updated Urban Cruiser Hyryder is available for reservations through Toyota dealerships nationwide and via the company's official online portal.
Speaking on the introduction of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Mr. Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business, said, ‘As the SUV segment evolves, we continue to refresh and elevate our lineup to stay ahead of the curve. 2025 Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder: What’s New?
Toyota has updated the Urban Cruiser Hyryder with customer-driven feature enhancements across its variant lineup. For instance, higher trims now include an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, rear door sunshades, ambient lighting, and ventilated front seats. The tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is extended to more variants, while LED spot and reading lamps are now standard. Moreover, an Air Quality Index display is now added to some models. All variants now feature an updated speedometer for enhanced readability. Additionally, dual-tone exterior colour options are introduced on certain trims.
In terms of safety, Toyota has made structural improvements to the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. Additionally, select automatic transmission models now come equipped with an Electronic Parking Brake (EPB).

The performance of the AWD variant in the new Urban Cruiser Hyryder is enhanced with the addition of a 6-speed Automatic Transmission (6AT), replacing the previous 5-speed manual. However, on the mechanical front, the SUV remains unchanged, featuring a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a CNG powertrain or hybrid technology.
