The much-anticipated Rumion from Toyota has finally made its way to India. The standard S version is priced at Rs 10.29 lakh, while the top-of-the-line V automatic model costs Rs 13.68 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom. Along with this, the manufacturer is currently accepting pre-orders for the MPV at a deposit of Rs 11,000. In addition, the vehicle comes with a CNG powertrain option, which costs Rs 11.24 lakh in India. The recently released Rumion has some cosmetic updates that distinguish it from the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. It boasts fresh dual-tone alloy wheels, a modified front bumper, and a trapezoidal grille that resembles the Innova Crysta. This new MPV is essentially a Maruti Suzuki Ertiga with a different name, so without further ado, let's explore it more.

Toyota Rumion MPV: Powertrain
The Toyota Rumion has a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine at its heart that can produce 102bhp and 137Nm. It can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The identical unit only comes with the manual gearbox in CNG-spec and claims to offer 87bhp and 121.5Nm. In comparison to the Rumion CNG which claims a fuel economy of 26.11km/l, Toyota states that the Rumion petrol delivers a mileage of 20.51km/l.

The Rumion has a lot of visual similarities with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, as it is built on the same platform. However, the bumper has been modified with trapezoidal fog lamp housings, which is the most obvious change. Additionally, a new grille, similar to that of the Innova Crysta, has been added. The car also features new dual-tone alloy wheels.
Toyota Rumion MPV: Interior & Features
The interior of the new Rumion features the identical dual-tone black and beige dashboard with faux wood inlays. A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automated climate control, and cruise control are a few of the amenities. The MPV comes with dual front airbags, side airbags, ABS with EBD, and an Electronic Stability Program (ESP). It is also available with a 7-seat configuration.

Toyota Rumion MPV: Variants, Warranty & Price
In terms of warranty, the vehicle comes with a standard 3-year, 100,000-kilometre warranty, which can be increased to 5-years, 2,20,000-kilometre. Further, there are three variants of the new model - S, G, and V. All models offer an automatic gearbox except for the G trim, which is a mid-spec option. Additionally, the factory-fitted CNG kit is only available on the standard S trim. The price structure of the vehicle as per variants is as follows:
