Here's what the upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross has to offer in comparison to the existing Innova Crysta.
The brand-new Toyota Innova Hycross has bid adieu to the Crysta nameplate by embracing a range of modifications and features. So, let's take a look at how the Hycross would differ from the Innova Crysta.
The Innova Hycross, unlike previous Innova models, will have a monocoque body. The upcoming vehicle will ditch the crude ladder-frame structure of its predecessor and will also come with front-wheel drive instead of rear-wheel drive.
While the Innova Crysta is decently kitted out, the Innova Hycross will take the game forward in terms of creature comforts. It'll have a large touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, and dual-zone climate control.
The upcoming Toyota model will be powered by a 2.0-litre NA petrol engine with hybrid technology. This will obviously make the Innova Hycross more fuel-efficient than the Innova Crysta.
Also, the Hycross will be equipped with ADAS features such as lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, forward-collision warning, auto high beam assist, and adaptive cruise control, making it a better choice over the Crysta in terms of safety.
The Innova Hycross is anticipated to hit the marketplace at a price of Rs17 – 26 lakh (Ex-showroom). The upgraded Toyota model is expected to give a tough fight to its rivals such as the Tata Safari, Jeep Meridian, and Mahindra Marazzo.
